CURRENT
I have studied nutrition since 1999, specifically special diets for people with health conditions exacerbated by food allergies and non-allergic adverse food reactions. Currently studying at California State University, Chico, I plan on continuing my research at the University of California, Davis in 2013. I would like to work researching how food reactions occur and what kind of effect they have on health. I would also like to utilize my experiences in grant writing, communications, and marketing to educate people and work with industry to improve health.

Certifications include ServSafe and HACCP (2011).

WORK EXPERIENCE
I have been working in the field of creative marketing since 1999 including: copywriting, content development, technical writing, grantwriting, reviews and opinion columns, and photojournalism. I also have several years experience working as an editor in addition to my other job responsibilities for various company projects. My layout and web design skills involve using Adobe CS and hand-coded HTML/CSS. I have a passion for nutrition and eco/environmental causes. I love new challenges and opportunities for growth.
