I am studying Nutrition, specifically whole food nutrition with emphasis on special diets for food allergies. I have over ten years of independent studies in this area and am working to finish my degree in this field so I can obtain certification. I would like to work with people to help improve their diets as well as work in a communications capacity, using my writing and marketing skills. I am studying through a distance program at Huntington College of Health Sciences of Knoxville, TN, and live in Northern California.

WORK EXPERIENCE
I have been working in the field of creative marketing since 1999 including: copywriting, content development, technical writing, grantwriting, reviews and opinion columns, and photojournalism. I also have several years experience working as an editor in addition to my other job responsibilities for various company projects. My layout and web design skills involve using Adobe CS and hand-coded HTML/CSS. I have a passion for nutrition and eco/environmental causes. I love new challenges and opportunities for growth.
